Groton Police Union Reports Busy Start of New Year

The City of Groton Police Union shared the following arrest information on Jan. 4.

• Julia Quiles, 51, of 37 Nathan Hale Road was charged Wednesday with failure to have head lamps and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

• Richard Sheldon, 21, of 239 Nautilus Drive Apt. 109 was charged Wednesday with speeding, weapons in vehicles and operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

• Milagros Williams, 38, 85 Peters Drive was charged Thursday with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

• Stanly Serra-Silvestre, 19, of 29 Connecticut Avenue Apt. 3 New London was charged Thursday with speeding and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

• Sara McPherson, 29, of 129 Nathan Hale Road was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.

• Michael Seal, 35, of 129 Nathan Hale Road was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.

• Jaicee Getchell, 20, of 35 Crouch Street Apt. 3 was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.

• Michael Ellis Jr., 25, of 116 Connecticut Avenue New London was charged Thursday with failure to obey traffic control signal and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

• Michael Martinez, 27, of 78B Ledyard Avenue was charged Friday with breach of peace second degree.
