Groton Police Union Reports Busy Start of New Year
Police made arrests on breach of peace and disorderly conduct charges, among others.

The City of Groton Police Union shared the following arrest information on Jan. 4.
- Julia Quiles, 51, of 37 Nathan Hale Road was charged Wednesday with failure to have head lamps and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- Richard Sheldon, 21, of 239 Nautilus Drive Apt. 109 was charged Wednesday with speeding, weapons in vehicles and operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
- Milagros Williams, 38, 85 Peters Drive was charged Thursday with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- Stanly Serra-Silvestre, 19, of 29 Connecticut Avenue Apt. 3 New London was charged Thursday with speeding and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
- Sara McPherson, 29, of 129 Nathan Hale Road was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
- Michael Seal, 35, of 129 Nathan Hale Road was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
- Jaicee Getchell, 20, of 35 Crouch Street Apt. 3 was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
- Michael Ellis Jr., 25, of 116 Connecticut Avenue New London was charged Thursday with failure to obey traffic control signal and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- Michael Martinez, 27, of 78B Ledyard Avenue was charged Friday with breach of peace second degree.
