Groton Summer Soundwaves at Esker Point Beach Presents Old Marsh

The series will present a band Thursday that "proves rock and roll will never die."

GROTON, CT- Groton Parks and Recreation’s Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach continues Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with a performance by Old Marsh.

The concert series is presented by Thames Valley Communications.

Started in 1996, Old Marsh is a 4 piece rock band with a twist of twang. The grungy 4 piece band plays music from the 60's to today while mixing in their own original music.

Summer SoundWaves concerts are free and open to the public. Parking is available at Esker Point Beach for $10 per car and $5 per motorcycle, which helps cover the costs of the concerts.

Free parking and shuttle service is also available at Fitch High School. Concerts are alcohol free, family friendly events.

Pets are not permitted at the concert. Concessions are available from local food vendors.
