Groton Town Police Welcome New Officer
Formerly a New Haven police officer, Tyler Moreau was sworn in as a Groton Town police officer June 13.

GROTON, CT—Groton Town Police announced a new police officer has joined their ranks. Officer Tyler Moreau was sworn in June 13. Police made the announcement on Facebook.
"Please join us in welcoming our newest addition to the Groton Police Department, Officer Tyler Moreau #153. Tyler was officially sworn in yesterday and will start his training process next week. He comes to us as a lateral transfer from New Haven PD where he worked the midnight shift for about 2.5 years," Groton Town Police wrote.

"Although Tyler is originally from Ellington, he lived and worked in Groton before becoming a police officer. Tyler is excited to return to Groton and get to work with our community," police wrote on social media.
