Groton Woman Charged With DUI In Stonington
An East Lyme man and a Groton woman are facing DUI charges after a rollover crash.
STONINGTON, CT - Two people are facing DUI charges following a rollover crash on Pequot Trail Friday evening, according to the Westerly Sun.
Gregory David Hofer, 40, of East Lyme, was driving his Lexus SUV on the road when he lost control, then struck a mailbox and a utility pole. He was charged with DUI, failure to drive right, and using a cell phone while driving, the Sun reported.
Following the crash, utility workers were restoring power to the neighborhood when a driver passed the roadblock without stopping. Suzanne Crowther, 54, of Groton was charged with DUI and failure to drive right.
