Groton Working With Restaurant On Noise Complaints

Groton officials are working with a Mystic restaurant to resolve issues regarding noise complaints from neighbors.

GROTON, CT - Groton officials are working with a Mystic restaurant to resolve issues regarding noise complaints from neighbors, the New London Day reported. Groton police said they have received complaints regarding the noise, but also noted restaurant managers have been receptive.

The town is currently awaiting a permit application from the restaurant that would allow for better regulation of the noise level, according to the New London Day. The permit would include details like how much outdoor seating should be allowed and at what hours music can be played, whether live or on outdoor speakers.

Chapter One opened last year at 32 W. Main Street in downtown Mystic, the New London Day reported. It is currently open until 1 a.m. from Sunday to Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
