Healthy Recipe: Zucchini Fries

Ingredients:

- 1 medium garlic clove (peeled)

- 2 tbsp. Olive Oil

- ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)

- 2 cups of zucchini (2 medium size)

- ¼ tsp. Sea Salt or Ideal Salt

- Black pepper to taste

 

Preparation:

1. Trim and cut zucchinis into 2-by-1/4-inch matchsticks

2. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until warm

3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes (optional) and cook, stirring occasionally, until fragrant but not browned (about 30 seconds).

4. Remove the garlic and discard.

5. Add the zucchini to the pan and toss until coated with oil. Let cook undisturbed until the bottoms of the matchsticks are golden brown.

6. Flip them and cook until crisp-tender.

7. Remove the pan from the heat and season the zucchini with salt and pepper

8. Serve with Walden Farms Tomato & Basil sauce or Ketchup to dip, and enjoy!
