Ice Cream Shop To Open In Groton For The Summer
A new ice cream shop promising to bring a wide variety of flavors is renovating a space at a local shopping plaza.
GROTON, CT — An ice cream shop is planning to open in Groton. Kohr's Ice Cream and More is charting an opening "by June," according to their Facebook page.
Renovations have started at the space at 76 Plaza Court. The address is at the Groton Shopping Plaza, which is home to a collectibles store, a gym, a Chinese restaurant, and other businesses.
Kohr's will feature a nautical theme and serve a wide variety of "artisanal ice cream with not only dairy options, but also vegan, sugar-free, boozey, and more."

They will also serve halo-halo, a shaved ice dessert popular in the Philippines, as well as lumpia, another Filipino dish. Kohr's will also serve hot food including burgers, fries, and much more, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
