Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. GROTON, CT — State police have identified the two victims in a fatal crash on I-95 in Groton on Friday night. The victims were Timothy I. Montague, 36, of New London, and Lori Lynn Botero, 34, of New London. The two died after their truck struck a guardrail and burst into flames on I-95. Connecticut State Police said a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling north on I-95 near Exit 87 around 9:20 p.m. when the crash occurred. According to police, as the driver exited the interstate, the truck drove off the ramp and hit a guardrail and a tree. Shortly after the crash, police said the truck became engulfed in flames. Montague and Botero died at the scene of the accident, authorities said. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. Witnesses of the crash or anyone with information should contact Trooper Timothy Wengloski at 860-848-6500, ext. 5.
