IDs Released In Fiery, Fatal I-95 Crash In Groton: State Police
State police have released the identities of the two people who died in an accident on I-95 in Groton on Friday.

GROTON, CT — State police have identified the two victims in a fatal crash on I-95 in Groton on Friday night.
The victims were Timothy I. Montague, 36, of New London, and Lori Lynn Botero, 34, of New London.
The two died after their truck struck a guardrail and burst into flames on I-95.

Connecticut State Police said a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling north on I-95 near Exit 87 around 9:20 p.m. when the crash occurred.
According to police, as the driver exited the interstate, the truck drove off the ramp and hit a guardrail and a tree.

Shortly after the crash, police said the truck became engulfed in flames. Montague and Botero died at the scene of the accident, authorities said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
