Imprisoned Former Groton Navy Sailor Seeking Presidential Pardon
As President Obama has less than two weeks left in office, he will be calling on the Trump administration to fast track the petitions.

GROTON, CT - A former Navy officer who has been imprisoned for taking photos of a nuclear attack submarine is now seeking a Presidential pardon, The Day reported.
Petitions for the pardon and for clemency were submitted Monday on behalf of the suspect, according to The Day. An application to waive the required five-year waiting period for clemency petitions was also filed.
Kristian Saucier, 30, is accused of using his cellphone to take pictures of technical components of the nuclear submarines, The Day reported. As President Obama only has less than 10 days left in office, Saucier will be calling on the Trump administration to fast track the petitions.
