Ledyard Police Seeking 'Erratic' Motorcyclist
If you know anything about the motorcycle driver described below, police want to hear from you.

Ledyard police received a report of “extremely erratic operation of a motorcycle” on Route 117 in Ledyard Center, at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 12.
“The bike proceeded East on RT 214 and made intentional action to strike an officer who had a vehicle stopped on RT 214,” the Ledyard Police Department stated via Facebook. “Several witnesses observed the bike on both Fanning Road and passing the pharmacy on the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation.”
The bike is described as a larger street bike with blue and white colors.

“The operator appeared muscular in build and wore a dark colored helmet, black T shirt, and shorts,” police said. “The rear license plate of the bike was bent upwards.”
State, town and tribal police searched the area and the continue to do, according to police.
