Local Microbrewery Plans to Expand

Outer Light Brewing Company opened in Groton in 2015.

Less than a year after opening, the Outer Light Brewing Company in Groton is planning to expand the microbrewery, according to owners Matt Ferrucci and Tom Drejer.

The microbrewery intends to double its beer-making capabilities to brew more than 1,000 barrels by April, its one-year anniversary, reports The Day.

“We can’t keep up with the demand,” Ferrucci told The Day. “We weren’t expecting everything to take off so quickly.”
