LOVE T.V.? COME TO EAST LYME TOUCH-A-TRUCK

The main event is, of course, Trucks!  Therefore, one of the Trucks your child won’t want to miss is the Chanel 3 satellite truck.  Once again, it will be manned by Eric Parker who enjoys demonstrating to the children the “cool” equipment in the truck and showing them their faces on the closed circuit T.V.

As a special treat, Kevin Hogan, THE Chanel 3 New London Bureau Chief, will be present to report on the event.  Kevin says his career gives him an opportunity to meet people while reporting on stories that help communities.  When you see him at T-A-T, be sure to say hey!

There is no better way to spend a day with your children than at the East Lyme Auxiliary Child & Family Agency’s Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at McCook Point Park in Niantic.  Rain date is Sunday, May 18th.  If the weather people are correct and we are rained out Saturday, know that everyone will be in place on Sunday to create this magical, entertaining world by the Bay.

Children will be able to climb, steer, blow horns, and imagine in an amazing array of trucks.  There will be a smoke truck, bucket truck, cement mixer, satellite truck, paramedic van, police cruiser, limousine, aerial lift truck, and a Crest Ford Tonka Truck.   Don’t miss the fun!  Rain may postpone us but not diminish us!
