Check Your Tickets: $6.8 Million Jackpot Winner Sold At Groton Store
Check out the store where a player won the massive jackpot in a Tuesday night drawing, according to CT Lottery.
GROTON, CT — A lucky player scored a $6.8 million win after purchasing a ticket at a Groton store.
CT Lottery posted the following on its Facebook page: "Cold outside, but things just heated up in Groton! A lucky player who bought their ticket at Big Y World Class Market is taking home last night's $6.8 Million Lotto! jackpot!"
The lump sum of the jackpot is worth $4,095,197. The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, CT Lottery said.

The numbers in the Tuesday drawing were 4-10-27-31-38-41. The winner hit all six numbers. The odds of hitting the jackpot were 1 in 7,059,052, according to CT Lottery.
The Big Y is located at 995 Poquonnock Road in Groton. The store will receive a bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

Lotto! tickets cost $1 each. There are drawings every Tuesday and Friday at 10:38 p.m., according to CT Lottery.
