GROTON, CT — A male was shot over the weekend in a Bridge Street parking lot in the City of Groton, according to The New London Day. Police received the call early Sunday morning for a gunshot wound victim at 171 Bridge St.
The victim was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back. He underwent surgery and is expected to recover, according to The New London Day.
