Malloy Visits Groton Via Water Taxi

The governor of Connecticut said he hopes the water taxi becomes a permanent feature, according to the city of Groton.

Governor Malloy was greeted warmly as he arrived by water taxi in the City of Groton. Governor Malloy gave the water taxi a thumbs up saying it should become a “permanent feature.” While in the City he visited Ralph’s Coffee Shop where Ralph Abbott filled the Governor in on the positive impact the taxi has had on his business. Governor Malloy enjoyed all the events of the day, stopping at the Thames Street Block Party, the Avery - Copp House, and the Subvets World War II Memorial.
