GROTON, CT — A man was hospitalized following a shooting in Groton early Sunday morning, WTNH News-8 reported.

City of Groton police responded to a Meridian Street address at 3:20 a.m. on a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The 24-year-old man was taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

Police recovered two guns from the scene of the incident, The Day of New London reported.
