Montville Man Charged With Arson In Groton Home Fire

GROTON, CT—Town police arrested and charged a Montville man in connection with a fire set to a occupied motor home in July. According to NBC Connecticut, first responders to a fire on Crystal Lake Roadon July 27 around 2 a.m. Authorities said the person inside the mobile home was able to escape with minor injuries but the home was destroyed by the fire which was determined to be set intentionally set.

After an investigation, authorities got a warrant for Richard Gladue Jr., 33, of Montville. He turned himself in to Groton Town Police Wednesday. He's charged with arson and reckless endangerment and was held on $500,000 bond.
