The Mystic/Noank/Stonington Auxiliary of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT Hosts a Golf Tournament on Monday, September 29 at the Stonington Country Club.

The Mystic/Noank/Stonington Auxiliary of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, is hosting a Golf Tournament and Sundowner reception benefiting Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. The golf tournament will be held on Monday, September 29 at the beautiful Stonington Country Club.

A light lunch and registration will begin at 11am with a shotgun start at Noon. The tournament will be a modified Callaway Scramble and the ticket includes golf cart, driving range, putting green, lunch, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as basket items and prizes. Following the tournament, there will be a Sundowner reception which includes bountiful hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.

“The “Family” word in the name of our Agency includes not only those we help to serve but all of us in the community. Your help with the Annual Sale, Polar Express, your donations and attendance at other Auxiliary events has truly helped thousands of children in southeastern Connecticut and we ask that you help us to “GET THE BALL ROLLING” once again in the Mystic/Noank(GLP)/Stonington area”, according to Ed Ettinger, event chair and board member of Child and Family Agency. “Your help is needed to make this event a success by recruiting your friends and neighbors. “

The mission of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut is to promote the well-being and development of all children and their families, in particular to give priority to the unmet needs of children lacking physical, emotional and intellectual care and nurturing. Child & Family’s programs deal with the prevention of child abuse, the treatment of family violence, teen pregnancy, children’s health care, child care, parent education and children’s mental health issues. Last year the Agency served over 17,000 children and their families in 79 towns in Southeastern Connecticut. There are six auxiliaries comprised of over 650 volunteers who support the Agency’s mission through their volunteer and fundraising activities.
