New Restaurant Plans Opening In Former Ford's Lobster Space
A new restaurant is slated to open soon in Noank. Ford's Lobster won't be in its old space but has plans to be back for the season as well.
GROTON, CT — A new restaurant is planning to open in the former home of Ford's Lobster in Noank, The Day of New London reported.
Haring's, operated by 85th Day Food Community, will serve lobster rolls, chowder, and seafood at the the Riverview Avenue property.
The restaurant plans to open between Memorial Day and Father's Day.

Last year, the lease for the Ford's Lobster property ended. However, Ford's still plans to open this season, though the location hasn't been pinned down.
Ford's posted the following on Facebook: "We are still working out where we'll be this summer, but we are confident we'll be close by and able to give you all some delicious lobsta!"
On their website, Ford's wrote that they plan to open a new location in spring 2024. "In the meantime join us at Ford's Black & Blue just down the road at Spicer's Marina for all of your Ford's favorites."
