New Year's Festivities for All Ages at Galaxy Roller Rink

GROTON, CT – The New Years Holiday is a time when people of all ages come together to celebrate of a year passed and a new beginning in the year to come. At the Galaxy Roller Rink located at 210 Bridge Street in Groton, CT, they go big for the New Years Celebrations – twice included with free party hats and noisemakers during both sessions!

During the afternoon hours, the Galaxy Crew puts on an “Early-Midnight” party for the youngsters, which consists of great music, a safe environment and the always well-received countdown to “Early-Midnight” at 4:00pm with a balloon and stuffed animal drop. This gives parents the opportunity to celebrate the holiday early with their children and then also get them to bed at a reasonable hour.

Once the afternoon session is over, the rink cleans up and re-groups for The Late Party! This is still a family friendly event that is safe for all ages event but it is geared towards the pre-teen/teenager and young adult age group. From the live DJ, great food at the Snack Bar and roller skating festivities – this is the place to be for New Years! As expected, the true midnight countdown with another balloon and stuffed animal drop is always the highlight of the evening.
