Obituary: Christine D. Hayes, 70, Of Groton

GROTON, CT - Christine D. Hayes, 70, of Groton died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Pendleton Healthcare in Mystic. She was born in Middletown, New York on February 19, 1947, the daughter of Harry and Agnes (Brown) Hayes.

She is survived by her longtime companion, James J. McCarthy. She is also survived by her daughter, Sarah Brody and her husband Seth of Darien.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister Sandra Kestenbaum, and brothers Brian and Barry Hayes. Her family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, November 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Point Road, Groton. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic.
