GROTON, CT - Gloria May Gray, 86, of Groton died peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Groton Regency. She was born on December 31, 1930 in Cranston, Rhode Island, the daughter of Rose Lombard and William Peck and grew up in Southeastern New England.
Throughout her life, she worked as a mill worker, a caregiver to the elderly, a nanny, and a homemaker. She was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness. She loved people, her family, her many friends and her spiritual brothers and sisters.

Gloria is survived by her two daughters, Gail Rokotuibau, her husband Koroi, their six children, 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and Gina Brown-Congdon. She is also survived by her sister, Deborah L. Peck.
She was predeceased by her husbands, George Kenneth Brown-Congdon and Paul Anthony Gray, and her three sons, Kenneth L. Brown-Congdon, Gilbert A. Brown-Congdon, and Shane L. Brown-Congdon. She is also predeceased by her aunts and uncle, Doris and Frank Brown and Mildred Lombard Avalino, as well as her brother Daniel Brown, sister Caroline Ford and her brother William S. Peck Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 170 Flanders Road, Mystic CT 06355.
There will be no Repast. Burial will be private for the family.
