GROTON, CT — James F. Maynard, 72, of Groton passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1945, the son of the late Frederick N. and Ruth Maynard.
Jim was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and had gone on to a career as a warehouseman at Electric Boat in Groton.

His survivors include a son and daughter- in- law Gregory J. and Meichelle Maynard of Waterford, five grandchildren and two great- grandsons
A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at the Sneekers Café (568 Poquonnock Rd, Groton). His burial in the Comstock Cemetery in Montville will be private.
