Linda M. (McCutchan) Walker, 71, of Groton, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 after a long illness.

Born in Independence, KS she was the daughter of the late Harold and Betty (Williams) McCutchan, and lived in Groton since 2001 previously residing in Mystic.

Linda was a registered Nurse for 42 years retiring in 2008, where over 20 years of her career was with Pequot Health Center in Groton. She loved dogs, sports, and knitting; and Linda was an accomplished horseback rider.

She is survived by her two children, L. Mathew Walker (Kelley Flynn) of North Reading, MA and Laura Dietz (Matthew) of Niantic; three siblings, Marcia McCutchan, Keith McCutchan (Connie) and Brian McCutchan (Puddy) all of Mt. Vernon, IN; three grandchildren, Aiden and Jackson Dietz and Kathryn Walker, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
