Obituary: Ralph E. 'Pete' Kilpatrick Jr., 80, Of Groton

Ralph E. "Pete" Kilpatrick Jr., 80, of Groton passed away March 13, 2018 at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London. Pete was born on February 14, 1938 in New London, the son of the late Ralph E. and Arlene Pollard Kilpatrick, Sr.

Pete was married to the former Beverly A. Geer on March 25, 1961 in New London. He had worked for over 30 years in the automotive industry; and for the last 13 years he worked in Maintenance for the Groton Board of Education within the Groton School System.

Besides his wife, Pete is survived by his son Wayne R. Kilpatrick of Perkasie, PA and a sister Sandra L. Wuest and her husband Jerry of Lawrenceburg, IN. Pete had also been predeceased by his sister Margaret Hill and her husband James.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Smith Lake Cemetery (Treatment Center Road, Groton). Byles- Groton Memorial Home(www.byles.com) is assisting the family.
