Sarah Ann Cothran, 77, of Groton passed away on Monday morning May 21, 2018 at her home.
She was born on April 30, 1941 in South Pittsburgh, TN a daughter to the late Lee Thorton and Sarah Margaret Beene Hudson.

Sarah had been married on March 12, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL to Willie Charles Cothran who passed away on February 21, 2018.
For over 23 years, Mrs. Cothran had worked for the Groton Board of Education as a Crossing Guard.

Sarah was much loved by her daughters, Jlanda Cothran-Richter, Calita Cothran, son in law, Eugene Richter, II, and her grandchildren Heather and Cristofer Richter.
In addition, Sarah was loved by her seven brothers and sisters greatly.
Byles- Groton Memorial Home (310 Thames Street) is assisting her family with services which are to be private.
