As everyone knows, this winter has been unusually harsh on the region. It has also been a major added burden to so many people. These two facts combined caused the number of requests for our services, (mainly our food distributions) to reach levels that have not been talked about in years! The results of which leaves us with a virtually emptied food pantry!
It is for this reason we are sending out an urgent request to you the public in our local southern New London County area..to help us refill these shelves. We have been so blessed thus far in our ability to help those who are reaching out to us for the food, (And other services we provide). However..the calls keep coming in, and people reaching out to us still walk into our building. If you are able to--would you consider bringing in some food to help refill our pantry as quickly as possible?
