Overdose Victim Revived by Groton City Police
The officers administered Narcan in time to revive the victim.

GROTON, CT- Local police officers revived a man who had overdosed early Saturday on heroin, as reported by The Day.
Police were called to a Couch Street address close to 1:30 a.m. that morning in response to a suspected overdose, according to The Day. The officers administered Narcan and were able to revive the man.
Police had carried the opiate antidote since early spring, The Day reported. The victim, meanwhile, was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
