Peaceful Protest of Groton Citizens 9/27/22

Citizens of Groton CT are encouraged to attend a peaceful demonstration today in the Groton Senior Center, starting at 6:30 PM for the Town Council Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting.

No public comments are allowed at a COW meeting. The intent is to stand outside the meeting hall as a peaceful demonstration of concern as a protest for the following topics:

a) The lack of progress with apartment repairs at Branford Manor, creating negative health affects on the residents;

b) The "Give-away" by the State to the developer of the Mystic Oral School, which will have serious consequences for the immediate neighborhood and the Town.

There should be ample, convenient parking for anyone attending. Please attend if you are able.
