Pedestrian Injured In Groton Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Police are searching for a driver accused of hitting a pedestrian, then fleeing the scene of the accident.

GROTON, CT — A man was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Groton on Thursday, according to police.
Police received a 911 call at 6:07 a.m. reporting that a car struck a pedestrian at Bentham Avenue near the intersection with Forest Street.
Police arrived at the scene of the crash and found an injured man. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The vehicle involved in the accident fled before people in the area found the victim and provided aid, police said.
The victim's injuries were not life threatening, and he was in stable condition at the hospital.
