Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car On I-95 In Groton: Reports

An investigation of the incident closed the highway, according to reports.

GROTON, CT — A person was hospitalized after they were hit by a car on I-95 in Groton on Tuesday, according to WFSB 3-TV.

Crews responded at 9:17 p.m. to the area of exit 88 on the highway's southbound side following a report of a car striking a pedestrian.

The person was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to WTNH News-8.
