Plans Call For Groton Hotel To Be Converted Into Apartments

A developer is seeking to convert a Groton hotel into an apartment building, according to a report.

GROTON, CT — A developer has plans to convert a hotel into a 60-unit apartment complex, according to The New London Day. The Days Inn & Suites on Gold Star Highway was built in the 1990s.

The developer's plan calls for the hotel's extended stay rooms to be converted into apartments along with interior renovations and site improvements. The hotel's business was affected by the pandemic when occupancy numbers reportedly dropped.
