Power Outages Reported Across Connecticut
More than 25,000 customers across the state are without power.

Over 23,000 Eversource customers across Connecticut are currently without power.
The Eversource outage map reports scattered outages across the state. As of 5:55 p.m., the following towns are the most affected by the outages:
- Lisbon: 1734 customers affected
- Brooklyn: 2557 customers affected
- Killingly: 4219 customers affected
- Groton: 660 customers affected
- Waterford: 2007 customers affected
- Cheshire: 928 customers affected
- Windham: 682 customers affected
- Meriden: 366 customers affected
- Bethel: 365 customers affected
Eversource spokesman Mitch Gross said the wind has brought wires down across the state. All available crews are currently making repairs and assessing damage.

As of this point, Eversource does not have an estimate for when power will be restored.
Gross said the company will provide restoration estimates as soon as they are available. Anyone experience a power outage should call 1-800-286-2000.

“A strong weather front moved through the state this afternoon causing outages statewide,” Eversource said in reply to a disgruntled customer on Twitter.
