Power of Purple Hot Cider Walk to End Domestic Violence Coming to Groton

The Power of Purple Hot Cider Walk and Rally will take place at noon Sunday, Oct. 19, at the City of Groton Municipal Building, 295 Meridian St.

The event is rain or shine. The following information is from the event poster:

• Wear purple and take a stand against domestic violence
• Noon to 1 p.m. - Registration
• 1 p.m. Walk around Washington Park and historic Groton
• 2:30 p.m. Refreshments, resources and rally
• $10 fee
• Register at the Safe Futures website
• Children 18 and younger walk for free
• Teams are welcome.
• Prizes for best team categories will be awarded
• All entrants receive a T-shirt and bracelet
