Rhode Island Police Arrest Suspected Groton Bank Robber

He will be extradited to Connecticut.

Westerly Rhode Island police took a fugitive from justice into custody on Thursday who is wanted in connection with a Groton bank robbery.

Vincent Nicastro, 32, of Westerly was developed as a suspect in the Groton Peoples United Bank robbery that occurred at the Stop and Shop branch on Wednesday, according to Fox CT.

He will be extridited to Connecticut where he faces robbery and larceny charges.
