Road Closures For Mystic Halloween Parade Announced

GROTON, CT — The Groton Town Police Department and the Stonington Police Department announce the temporary closing of roads for Sunday, 10/31/2021. The temporary road closures are in conjunction with the Mystic Fire Department and Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade.

The road closures will occur at approximately 1:00 PM, on Sunday 10/31/2021, and will remain in effect for approximately forty-five minutes until the parade concludes at the B. F. Hoxie Mystic Fire Department, Broadway Ave (Route 1), Stonington, CT.

The road closures are as follows:

Groton/Mystic side: Water Street (Route 215) at New London Road, Mystic, CT

West Main Street (Route 1) at Water Street, Mystic, CT east over the Mystic Drawbridge

Pearl Street at West Main Street, Mystic, CT

Gravel Street at West Main Street, Mystic, CT

Stonington/Mystic side:

East Main Street (Route 1)

Cottrell Street southbound.

Washington Street eastbound

Washington Street to Broadway Ave (Route 1) and into the B. F. Hoxie Mystic Fire Department.

The Groton and Stonington Police Departments, in conjunction with the Mystic Fire Department and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, want to remind everyone that this is a family-oriented parade.
