Just like “mixed doubles” matches in tennis, you will partner with an opposite-gender teammate. He runs 5K first, then she runs 5K. Team scoring is by combined ages in these categories: Open, Brother-Sister, Mother-Son, Father-Daughter. The Open division includes Husband-Wife and any other male-female team. Single runners may register and join the “Singles Bar” on race day to find a partner.

The 5K loop is flat, fast, and scenic, meandering through scenic Groton Long Point and Noank, with spectacular views of Long Island Sound.
