Two Students Sent to Clinic After School Bus Accident in Groton [UPDATED]

6:08 p.m. June 3 Update:

An Old Mystic fire department vehicle and school bus from Northeast Academy Elementary School were involved in an Allyn Street accident, The Day reports.

Twenty-seven students were reportedly riding the bus when police said it was hit on the left while passing the Old Mystic fire department vehicle.

The two students were treated at the clinic for minor injuries.

A school bus and motor vehicle got into an accident on Allyn Street in Groton Wednesday afternoon, June 3, according to The Day.

The I-95 off-ramp at Exit 89 will be closed for an unknown amount of time. Patch will update this article as more information becomes available.
