Learn The Basics Of a Successful Business
In this free workshop presented by the Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, you’ll explore the key steps that turn a business opportunity into an entrepreneurial journey. Workshop presenters Nazz Paciotti and Jim Toner will teach you how to organize your business, where and how to secure funding, manage cash flow, and how to build business and marketing plans that will provide you with the roadmap to success.
Workshop Presenter Jim Toner was an R&D Engineering Manager for a large imaging company, and he ran a home remodeling business for eleven years. He has expertise in short and long term planning, budgeting, manufacturing, security, HR, and general management.
Workshop Presenter and SCORE counselor Nazz Paciotti was a financial officer in aerospace, international, and physical security companies as well as oil and gas production, refining and exploration, including start-ups, acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers.
