Sewage Spill Near Pfizer Main Gate ‘Being Addressed’
Initially thought perhaps to be a water main break, the spill has created a sheath of ice on Eastern Point Road
What was initially thought to be perhaps a water main break in front of the Pfizer gate in Eastern Point Road, which has the street there slick and slippery, turns out to be a sewage spill, according to Groton City Mayor Marian Galbraith.
Reported first on the Groton City Police Union Facebook page, the spill is “being addressed,” Galbraith said in a message to Groton Patch.
