Spark By Hilton Opens In Mystic
The first Spark by Hilton, a "premium economy" lodging option, has opened in Mystic.
MYSTIC, CT — Hilton has opened a new hotel in Mystic. The first Spark by Hilton, what the company describes as "premium economy" lodging, is located at 55 Whitehall Ave.
The location was formerly a Days Inn.
Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer at Hilton, announced the opening on his LinkedIn page.

"Spark signifies the start of something great," he wrote, "a moment of ignition as we add energy and momentum into the premium economy category to deliver the most reliable and friendly stays."
Hilton announced the new Spark brand in January, which offers a 24-hour retail market, 24-hour digital check-ins, and complimentary breakfast, The Hartford Business Journal reported. More locations around the country are slated to open.

According to the hotel's website: "Located off I-95, our hotel is nestled in the historic maritime town of Mystic. We’re within two miles of downtown, the Mystic Bascule Drawbridge, and plenty of shopping and dining. The Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport Museum and Olde Mistick Village, are only one mile away. Enjoy our outdoor pool, free WiFi and the complimentary Coffee & Bagel Bar."
