GROTON, CT – A Norwich man was charged Thursday with felony murder in connection with the death of a Groton man whose body was discovered more than 10 years ago, The Day reported.
Timothy Johnson, 32, was arrested for his alleged role in the death of Anthony Hamlin, a father of five whose naked body was in a Ledyard field in January 2006, The Day reported. The victim had died of blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy at the time of death.
State police said they expect at least one additional arrest in the ongoing investigation, according to The Day. Johnson is being held in lieu of $1 million bond and expected in court Friday for arraignment.
