Submarine Base Firefighters Redo Kitchen

Here at Sub Base Fire we have a very talented and hard working group of guys. Within the last two months both shifts at station 2 have totally gutted and redid the entire kitchen.

Everything from new sheetrock, floor, plumbing, electrical, new cabinets, countertops, install of appliances and so much more went into this project. The department got funding for the materials but all the labor was done by on duty members in between calls and training!

This project shows how hard work and coordination by both shifts can result in a beautiful kitchen for years to come. This type of work shows true pride and dedication to the department on every level!

The chief officers could not be more happy with the outcome of this project!! Job well done brothers! A/C Whipple
