Recently, a commercial developer indicated a desire to put an elderly housing development on the site of the Noank School. This will create a major change in the residential area, with the addition of frequent ambulance calls and sirens. The only beneficiary will be the developer. There are better locations for such an expansion, such as the additional available property at Mystic River Homes.
Write or E-Mail your Groton Town Councilors for support of the Noank School Community Garden. This project will benefit the ENTIRE town, not just the pockets of a developer.
