Suspected Getaway Driver in Groton 99 Restaurant Shooting Pleads Not Guilty
The alleged getaway driver in a recent shooting outside a restaurant has pleaded not guilty in court.

GROTON, CT – A teenager accused of driving a getaway car during a recent shooting pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday, according to The Day.
Timothy McKoy, 18, of New London is accused of being the getaway driver in a shooting outside a Groton 99 Restaurant, The Day reported. The car McKoy was driving was also reported to be stolen, to which he admitted in court.
The suspect denied driving to the restaurant on the night of the shooting, for which two other teens have been arrested, The Day reported. McKoy was arrested on a warrant during an Oct. 6 traffic stop and was found with a firearm in his vehicle.
