Town Eyes Treatment Plant Site for Cell Tower Company Lease
A public hearing is set for next Tuesday for folks to weigh in on plan to lease site to a Florida-based communications company

The Groton Town Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed lease of town-owned property on Gary Court to SBA Towers III, LLC, a Boca Raton, Florida-based communications company, for a proposed cell tower.
The site at 170 Gary Court is home to the town’s water sewage treatment plant operated by the pollution control authority.
It is unclear what the lease terms are and will presumably be provided the night of the hearing.
The public hearing is slated for Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m., at Town Hall Annex, Community Room 1.
