Vehicle Flips Over On I-95 In Groton

GROTON, CT —Traffic on Interstate 95 in Groton is backed up late Thursday morning after a vehicle has reportedly overturned.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash involved an "overturned motor vehicle" on I-95 southbound between exits 86 and 84. It happened at 10:42 a.m. today, according to state officials.

The DOT reports the left lane is closed and cleanup is expected to take up to an hour, but no less.
