Water Service Outage Affecting Several Groton Apartment Buildings
Groton Utilities reported the service issues Friday morning affecting eight apartment buildings.

GROTON, CT — A water service outage is affecting several apartment buildings in Groton on Friday morning.
Groton Utilities posted the following on social media:
"There is currently a water service outage in the area of Bishop Lane and Mumford Avenue affecting several apartment buildings in the area. Crews are onsite working on repairing the problem. No estimate on how long service will be down is currently available."

The utility company also posted an update around 11 a.m.:
"Outage Update: Repairs are being made to a valve in the Bishop Lane area that provides water services to eight apartment buildings. Water was leaking into the street yesterday and it was determined that the valve needed to be repaired today. Repairs are currently underway with hopes of having service restored by 6:00 pm."
