What to Know What’s Happening At Your Child’s School?

Have a question, idea or suggestion about what’s going on at your child’s school? The Groton Parent Council sounds like a good place to share.
Open to all parents, no, you don’t need to be a member or sign up. According to the Groton Public Schools website the meetings are “always attended by parents from most schools, district administrators, Groton Board of Education members and provide for a wonderful opportunity to learn about new initiatives and issues in the district.”
Tonight’s meeting, slated to be held in the West Side Middle School Media Center, begins at 5:30 p.m. and last about an hour and generally include the superintendent’s report, a ‘Question of the Month where the superintendent, BOE members, principal from hosting school, parents will be able to delve into a topic of concern and have a dialogue about educational issues in the Groton Public Schools and the meeting usually ends with the opportunity for parents and educators to share and network.
