1-Year Revaluation Process Begun For Oct. 1, 2022 Grand List
With revaluation company Municipal Valuation Services, the town started the state-mandated project, representing taxes due in July 2023.

GUILFORD, CT —It's revaluation time, folks, so expect to see reval company staffers, all easily identifiable as they'll wear badges, snapping photos of your property. And expect a questionnaire about your dwelling sometime in November, the town says.
The town has begun the state mandated revaluation project for the Oct. 1, 2022 Grand List —taxes that will be due in July 2023 — with help from hired revaluation company Municipal Valuation Services (Munival). The process will last a year, now until Oct. 1, 2022.

In a news release from the town, it's noted that Munival follows all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as local and state policies in place regarding COVID-19.
All employees will be wearing face masks when speaking with taxpayers and will practice proper social distancing protocols. They each wear a town badge and a company badge and their vehicles branded with company logo have magnets and company logo on their attire. All vehicles are registered with the local authorities and the Assessor’s Office.
